Who Collects Your Data
netanel ben tov, trading as "Not a Salesman", is the controller of your personal data collected through this website. Payment data is processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record.
What We Collect
- Name — when you request a free chapter, buy the book, or contact us
- Email — to deliver products and respond to inquiries
- Company & job title — when provided on team license or speaking inquiry forms
- Order information — product purchased, amount, date, order number
- Purchase history — records of transactions processed by Polar
- IP address & browser/device information — for security and basic analytics
- Referral source & UTM parameters — to understand how visitors find us
- Cookie identifiers — only with your consent (see Cookie Policy)
- Website analytics — aggregate, non-identifying usage data
- Support correspondence — records of emails and form submissions
- Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to marketing emails
We do not collect data we don't use. We do not collect national ID numbers, dates of birth, or full payment card details.

- Analytics provider — aggregate site usage (only with consent where required)
Each provider processes data under their own privacy policy. We do not list integrations that are not active.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States (Base44, Polar) and Israel. We rely on applicable transfer safeguards where required. We do not claim certifications we have not verified.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary:
- Order records: as long as legally required for tax/accounting
- Lead data: until you request deletion or it's no longer relevant
- Marketing consent records: until you unsubscribe plus a suppression period
- Support correspondence: until the issue is resolved and the retention period expires
We do not keep personal data indefinitely "just in case."

This website and book are not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe we have collected child data in error, please contact us for deletion.
Security
We use HTTPS, role-based admin access, secure authentication, and minimal data collection. We do not store full credit card numbers or CVV — payment is handled by Polar. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
